Summary

Description
English: This phylogeny (relationship tree of animals) depicts examples of major animal lineages, and their relationship. Against this phylogeny specific organs are noted. As can be seen most animal organs evolved a very long time ago. Also, almost all organs evolved only once in all animals. This means that studying how organs evolved in animals is a very difficult problem to study.
